It’s important to remember being SDG QUEEN is a job of its own, a multi-faceted job which provides many life-shaping opportunities. Typically MISS SDG NIGERIA will travel the world and make appearances; she will lend her voice to help those in need; represent our sponsors and be an overall spokesperson for the Organization. In selecting a MISS SDG NIGERIA, we ask our selection committee, typically comprised of accomplished business leaders, philanthropists and public figures, to look for a young woman who is comfortable in her own skin; someone who is authentic, empathetic and determined to make her mark in the world. In preparing for the competition (and life!) we advise all participants to reflect upon who they are and what their passions are. Be engaged with your community and always seek to push your personal envelope and live outside your comfort zone.

After a winner is crowned, through the organization, the winner is provided a platform for possibility based on her objectives for the year. Alongside the Organization, she will plan how to achieve her goals on the regional, national and global levels.

The host site for the competition is selected based on a number of factors including city infrastructure and capabilities of the venue for production, most preferably Lagos and Abuja.
