INTRODUCTION

Specific terms and wording that has been used for these Terms & Conditions:
“Organizer” “Organizers” or “Organization” means LADEWIN INITIATIVE, THE MISS SDG NIGERIA jointly or separately. “Entrant, Applicant or Delegate” is the individual who completes and submits an Entry Form.

“Third Party” is the term used for all individuals, groups or organizations other than the Organizers or the Entrant.

“Finalist” or “Grand Finalist” is the individual who completes and submits an Entry Form and is subsequently accepted for a place in The Miss SDG Nigeria

VOTING RULES AND PROCEDURES

Miss SDG Nigeria, administered by Ladewin Initiative invite you to participate in multiple voting contestants in the Miss SDG Nigeria (MGGN) pageant, including voting a candidate into the top 20 Wildcard and other potential voting scenarios. The voting process will be conducted pursuant to these Voting Rules and Procedures and any other rules and procedures the Administrator and its partners may designate. These Voting Rules and Procedures are subject to change at any time and may include additional voting opportunities throughout the period.

Eligibility:
Voting is open to any Nigeria 16 or older, worldwide.

Timing:

The Voting Period for the Global Vote will begin immediately after application deadline end a week to the boot camp (the “Voting Period”). Votes received outside of the Voting Period will not be counted.

How to Vote:
Visit www.msdg.ng/vote and follow the instructions to vote. You may vote once or multiple time for your preferred contestant. Voting prices are listed in Naira.
The contestant with the highest number of votes as determined by Administrators during the Voting Period will determine a place in the top candidates for the Top 9 Wildcard round. The Administrators reserve the right, in their sole discretion, to reject votes cast by any individual who tampers with the voting process or acts in a disruptive or unsportsmanlike manner.
Charity:
Your voting donation will not only support your favorite candidate into the Top 9 Wildcard, but 15% of your vote will also go to your candidate to support her community service after.
Ten percent (25%) of all proceeds from the Top10 Wildcard will be donated to women empowerment programmes in Nigeria.
General Conditions:
The contestant with the highest number of votes as determined by Administrators during the Voting Period will determine a place in the top candidates for the Top 9 Wildcard round. The Administrators reserve the right, in their sole discretion, to reject votes cast by any individual who tampers with the voting process or acts in a disruptive or unsportsmanlike manner.
In the event the Administrators believe that the operation, security, or administration of the voting process is impaired in any way, the Administrators may, in their sole discretion, either: (a) suspend the voting process to address the impairment and then resume; (b) advance the contestant who received the highest score of valid votes at the time of the impairment; (c) utilize solely the judges’ scores to select the contestant to advance; or (d) employ any other fair and equitable resolution determined by the Administrators, in their sole discretion.
In the event the contestant with the highest number of votes is unable to move on for any reason, the Administrators may, in their sole discretion, either: (a) advance the contestant who received the second highest number of valid votes; (b) utilize solely the judges’ scores to select the contestants to advance; or (c) employ any other fair and equitable resolution determined by the Administrators. The Administrators shall, in their sole discretion, determine what constitutes a valid vote.
Release:
Administrators, national and international media houses of Miss SDG Nigeria, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, TikTok, their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, and sponsors, advertisers, advertising and promotion agencies, any other entity involved in the development or administration of the voting, and each of their respective directors, officers, employees and assigns (collectively, the “Released Parties”) are not responsible for any computer, network, technical, electronic, human, or other errors or problems of any kind, for any injury or damage to participants or to any person’s computer or mobile phone relating to or resulting from voting, or for votes that are not received or counted for any reason. By participating, you agree to release and hold the Released Parties harmless against any and all claims and liability of any kind arising in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, out of your participation in the voting.
Tampering:
Any attempt by you or any other individual to deliberately damage any online service, mobile phone service, or web site, tamper with the voting process, or otherwise undermine the legitimate operation of the voting may be a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, the Released Parties reserves the right to seek damages and/or other remedies from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. THESE RULES, AND SUBMISSION OF YOUR VOTES, ARE GOVERNED BY, AND WILL BE CONSTRUED IN ACCORDANCE WITH, THE LAWS OF NIGERIA.
PRIVACY POLICY:
Any personal information supplied by you to Administrators will be subject to Miss SDG Nigeria and Ladewin Initiative privacy policy and Terms and Conditions.
VOTING AND THE MISS SGDS NIGERIA Pageant ARE in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with INSTAGRAM OR FACEBOOK OR TIKTOK. You understand that you are providing your information to ADMINISTRATORS and not to them.
ELIGIBILITY
Each Entrant must qualify under the following criteria to be considered (at the discretion of the organizers): All entrants must be female and aged 18-35 years, must be a Nigerian citizen and without pregnancy. All Under 18’s (16 and 17) require a guardian or parental consent to enter the competition which is required to be acknowledged on the Entry Form or mail enquiry@msdg.ng
All entrants must meet the general entry requirements.
All Entrants, by submitting an Entry Form, acknowledge that they have read these Terms & Conditions of entry, agree to the contents, and have completed all of the information required on the Entry Form fully and accurately. Failure to do so may result in an entrant's expulsion at any time during the competition process and without redress.
Entrants agree to partake and be featured in any photography or filming (whether for television use or the use of all by the organizers) when attending official interviews and events.
BEHAVIOUR AND CONDUCT
2.1 – All Entrants and Grand Finalists are required to conduct themselves in a responsible and sportsmanlike manner. Any failure by an Entrant or Grand Finalist or any Supporter to maintain a standard of behaviour and that is acceptable to the organizers may lead to disqualification of the Entrant or Grand Finalist and ejection of the Entrant or Grand Finalist and her Supporters from any venue at which an official event is being held.
2.2 – All third parties of an Entrant or Grand Finalist are expected to conduct themselves appropriately at all times and it is the responsibility of the Entrant or Grand Finalist to ensure such.

FINALIST SPONSORSHIP
3.1 – The entry fee to apply for The Miss SDG Nigeria competitions is Five Thousand Naira Only. Text voting or public voting, among other voting platform as decided by the Organizers, otherwise, a minimum of 2000 votes is required to be selected as a Grand Finalist. The highest vote in this category secures a spot on the top 9 list. However, if an Entrant is subsequently selected for a place in The Miss SDG Nigeria competition and Grand Finals, the Grand Finalist will be requested to take care of some of her glamorous requirements and any fee related to beauty upgrade, while accommodation, welfare, and feeding during the period of the event will be taken care of by the organizer.
3.2 – The selected Grand Finalists (not the applicants) will require to secure a Sponsor/supporters to enable them to take care of their required needs during the competition of the Miss SDG Nigeria. Sponsorship can be obtained through one or multiple sources and can be from individuals, organizations, companies, local businesses, groups of friends, family, OR an entrant can sponsor herself.
3.3 – Each selected Grand Finalist is required to have a minimum of 10 Fans/ cheerleaders at the grand finale to provide a minimum level of support for the Charity and to ensure an equal and fair competitive environment for all, failure to meet up to that may lead to disqualification.

OBLIGATIONS AND COMMITMENTS: GRAND FINALISTS
4.1 – All Grand Finalists are required to willingly attend and be present at all relevant seminars, conferences, rehearsals, training sessions, photographic opportunities, press and media opportunities, sponsors events, etc, throughout the competition process and as may be deemed necessary and required by the organizers and Finalists must professionally apply themselves accordingly at all times.
4.2 – All Grand Finalists must arrive on time and as required for any seminars, trainings, rehearsals, photoshoots and the Grand Final, the details of which will be clearly outlined and stated to the Grand Finalist in advance.
4.3 – For television, general media and all official online usage, all Grand Finalists agree that any images of the Grand Finalist submitted as part of their application or any images produced about the event or associated events may be used by the organizers in any way deemed fit for promotional, public relations and publication purposes.
In agreeing, the Grand Finalist waives all rights to copyright claims or claims of intellectual property rights for an indefinite period.
4.4 – The organizers will provide all Grand Finalists with an official Grand Finalist graphic/logo/image JPEG file which the Grand Finalist is required to display as their profile image on all social networking, promotional or model sites during the full duration of the Miss SDG Nigeria campaign up to and including The Miss SDG Nigeria weekend.

GENERAL
5.1 – The organizers may amend any of these Terms and Conditions at any time if so deemed necessary.
5.2 – A judging and selection panel of no less than 3 officially authorized persons will oversee and undertake the judging process for selection of the Grand Final participants from all entry applications submitted and their decisions will be final.
5.3 – All matters relating to the Competition selections and results shall be determined by the Judges appointed by the organizers about the relevant selections and the Grand Final results. The Judges' decisions as announced shall be final and the Judges will not be required to enter into any correspondence with any individual about the selections. All such or subsequent correspondence should be undertaken in writing and directing with the organizers only.
5.4 – For purposes of ALL communication, notifications, updates or the distribution of information, the email address/WhatsApp Number provided by the Entrant at the time of submitting an entry application will be used in all cases and such is accepted by all parties as to the acceptable method of communication and all entrants are personally responsible for the regular checking of such and any related administering or communication that may be required. The entrant accepts that she must be active at all periods via the organization online grooming via the Organization information WhatsApp line and other platforms as may be decided.
5.5 – In accepting these Terms & Conditions of entry, the entrant also acknowledges acceptance of the terms of the associated contestant which the Entrant confirms she has read and has understood its content and obligations.
FORM
6.1 – If selected as a Miss SDG Nigeria Grand Finalist, by accepting a grand final place, I grant to the organization the absolute and irrevocable right and unrestricted permission in respect of my image and/or voice and/or words in video, film, computer-generated presentations referred to as digital resources as well as photographic portraits or pictures that have been taken of me; to use re-use, publish, and re-publish the same in whole or in part, individually or in any media now or hereafter known, and for any purpose whatsoever, for illustration, promotion, art, editorial, advertising and trade, or any other purpose whatsoever without restriction as to alteration; and to use my name in connection therewith if they so choose.
6.2 – I hereby waive any so-called “moral rights of authors” if I am used in video or film programming and grant The Miss SDG Nigeria, consent to make the fullest possible use of my services hereunder.
6.3 – The organization may without my further consent use my name, likeness, biography, photographs of me and recordings of interviews with me in advertising, publicity and on the Internet. I hereby release and discharge The organizers, its owners, employees, staff, associates or representatives from any claims and demands arising out of or in connection with the use of any films, photographs, including without limitation any claims for libel or invasion of privacy.
CONCLUSION
All Entrants confirm their acceptance of the FULL TERMS & CONDITIONS and the CONTESTANTS RELEASE by completing and submitting the online form.
