During the Miss SDG Nigeria (MSDG) pageantry, voting plays a significant role in determining the winner. MSDG, administered by Ladewin Initiative & Segun Abiri Consulting, invite you to participate in voting your preferred contestants in the MSDG 2024 pageant, including voting a candidate into the top 20 Wildcard and other potential voting scenarios, free and/or paid.
The voting process will be conducted pursuant to these Voting Rules and Procedures and any other rules and procedures the Administrator and its partners may designate. The voting system not only engages the audience but also provides contestants with an opportunity to raise funds for their projects, fostering a sense of purpose and social responsibility.
VOTING PERIOD: Contestants are encouraged to canvass for free votes on their selected social media platform starting from the moment they register on the official portal and once profiles have been approved for participation. The Voting Period for the Global Vote will begin immediately after application deadline end a week to the boot camp (the “Voting Period”). Votes received outside of the Voting Period will not be counted.
SUPPORTING CONTESTANTS: After the voting, the contestant is entitled to receive 15% of the total votes cast in her favor to be used for their community project. This is to support the causes that hold importance to the contestants and making a positive impact in society.
VOTING COST:Each vote in the Miss SDG Nigeria pageant is valued at N100 (Nigerian Naira). Participants and supporters can cast their votes by contributing the voting amount through the provided channels. The minimum vote requirement of N1,000 per cast.
The judging criteria for the competition are as follows:
